Cats were rare due to the wild dogs. The Marines saved this little
kitty and named him Heathcliff. |

Sgt.
Adam Frickey, 2002 graduate of Centennial High School in Boise, was
awarded the Navy/Marine Corps. Achievement Medal with Combat
Distinguishing Device for pulling an Army unit out of an ambush and
helping to save the life of a severely wounded soldier.

Jake homecoming in 29
Palms Oct 2003. They were so late getting to the base
they got to greet family and then turn in their weapons.

Jake in Iraq 1st tour
with 1/7 Charley Co. from January 2003 to October 2003. Once
we took Baghdad Jake spent most of the remaining time in
Najaf.

Jake 2nd tour to
Iraq, Aug. 2004 to March 2005. Second tour with 1/7
Charley Co., was spent on the Syrian border. Jakes unit
replaced Colt Dickman's unit. Colt is the son of Idaho
Marine Parent Lynne Denne. You can check out pictures of
Colt taken in Iraq on our website. Colt gave Jake the
rundown about the area before Colt’s unit returned
home.
