Since My Child Joined the Marine Corps

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps they have fought even as some in our Nation put them in jeopardy by not supporting our cause. They still remember September 11, 2001 when New York's Twin Towers fell and are angry.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps they have had high school friends who have not made good choices and have listened to the parents of those same friends make excuses for those choices.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps they have not captured Osama bin Laden but they have driven that devil deeper into hiding.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps their parents have become braver and more stoic and we are prouder of them than ever before.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps, they've kept a sense of humor and learned to enunciate better. They have also learned how to meet a USMC room inspection, but have yet to pass one given by their Mother.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps they have probably learned to swear, but not in front of their Mother.

Since my loved one joined the Marine Corps they have become my Hero. Who could ever not want their loved one to join the U.S. Marine Corps?

God Bless Our Marines & watch over them as they fight for Freedom around the World.

Dedicated to Marines & their parents everywhere
